The Australian Popular Songbook

Produced by Anne McInerney, this RN Poetica episode presents some of Alan Wearne’s sequence of poems based on Australian popular songs from the late 19th century through to the early 1980s. These poems were published across two volumes The Australian Popular Songbook (Giramondo, 2008) and Prepare the Cabin for Landing (Giramondo 2013).
